In 1982, Carl Aul received his first VW Bug from his parents as a means to get to work and school. In 1985, Carl began working out of his garage on a variety of vehicles, but Beetles were his specialty.
From simple tune ups to full restorations, Carl continued to work on Beetles and other VW vehicles for the Western Pennsylvania area until 2005, when Carl and his wife Tammy decided to take the next step in their love for Bugs and KMA Restoration was founded.
Over the past 35 years, many Beetles have come and gone from the Aul’s driveway. Some sentimental, while others were just plain fun to cruise around in.
